The other day I was chatting with one of the Forest Friends Preschoolers, and he told me that the Vegan Carrot Cake Cookies he had as a snack tasted different than usual. In his exact words, “they taste like leaves.” It took me a few minutes to figure out what could be giving off the leafy vibe when it hit me; I added cardamon to the cookies to see what the kids would think! Well, the verdict is in; they taste like leaves! 🤣
To a more distinguished palate, they are earthy and absolutely delicious. Try it for yourselves and let me know what you think! The choice is yours if you're going to add the cardamom. 😉
